There was a time when the state was at the service of it’s employers, the people. It realised very quickly that it could use the tools of state to entrench themselves in power rather than use them for the betterment of society as a whole. They decided that government was not of the people but above and apart from the people and could be used not for the people but to control the people; by controlling financial markets, media outlets, dumbing down education, and brainwashing the police and military into believing their job was to protect the interests of the powerful against the masses. Hence the CCTV cameras, mobile spying units, data mining of social media sites for personal information, aggressive policing and menacing uniforms designed to instill fear and so on.
Brick by brick our democratic rights are being dismantled by stealth through deceit, distraction and division thus diminishing our power to decide our own future destiny. The state has stolen that power from the people and enhanced it’s own power thanks to the engineered apathy of the population.
However, there is a line in the sand as we have seen in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Greece, Spain and others on the rise, where people have decided to re-impose their will on the political establishment and show them where real power really resides. When the people rise the establishment has no choice but to run for cover and that is the ultimate reality that those who have stolen our power will have to confront. The state must be reminded of their subservience to the will of the people, that it is of the people and for the people.
In the meantime we must stop complying with the will of the state. Turn off the propaganda, get on with our own lives in our own way, stop jumping every time the state says jump, get out in the streets and protest and make our political representatives jump when we say so. Let them know we will be heard and they will listen.

Last week MPs revived the corpse of the "secret justice" act.
When justice is carried out in secret, the very concept of justice is lost. At the same time the vote on gay marriage was taking place the government cynically slipped through a vote on this iniquitous bill. The consequences of this nasty piece of legislature seriously undermine the core principles of justice and accountability of the state to the people who elect them to represent their interests, not the interests of those in power.
Any cessation of power to the state weakens the voice of the people because the state now considers itself above and separate from the people. This is contrary to the principles of democracy where the state machinery is supposed to be at the service of the people. The military and police are there to serve and protect the people, not the interests of those in power who have forgotten that they are not above but of the people. Likewise, the justice system is there to serve all the constituent parts of society, not the interests of the powerful.
The same is true of all government services be it NHS, education, fire, revenue and so on. The government's job is to manage these services on behalf of society, i.e. you and me. They have no right or mandate to use these institutions to benefit or entrench their own power or authority. The real authority is us, the people and government is servant to and beholden, to us.
These are the foundations of a democratic state and they must be protected and underpinned by an irrevocable constitution and a strong and independent justice system that protects the interests of the people against abuse of power by our state.

What are NORAD exercises over American cities really about?
What is wrong with this announcement? According to this there have been 5000 threats to US air space since 2001! That equates to 417 per annum, more than one a day! By whom? By what? What action was taken? Was anyone arrested, captured or killed? Where is the evidence? Why were these threats not reported by mainstream media? Why are they and the American people being kept in the dark? This is ridiculous. This stuff is just not credible. Something else is going on here and I doubt it has much to do with daily air threats! 5000 is a nice round number too, don't you think?

The EU - to be or not to be!
Very well argued article by Peter Sutherland on Social Europe. However, Cameron's speech reflects the realities of Britain's long standing unease with the EU Project, not least the fact that it is and has been imposed on all the people of Europe by stealth rather than the instruments of true democracy. One suspects that the British are more sensitive to this than perhaps some other nations. Some of the newer members are not long freed from the chains of Russian enslavement in the old USSR and to them anything may appear to be an improvement on that, even a less than transparent politically engineered union.
The British people are by nature a fiercely independent island people who do not take kindly to having their freedom and sovereignty stolen from under their noses, by a self appointed calculating band of faceless, elitist bureaucrats and rightly so.
Since when was political union a pre-requisite for free and open trade? This is the lie we are being sold and whilst this may be acceptable, even desirable, to a minority group of self interested businessmen doing very nicely thank you, it is wholly unacceptable to many. Let us get one thing clear right here and now. These businessmen represent a tiny fraction of the UK population. Since when did the interests of a small group of self-interested businessmen override that of the majority in a democracy? Could that be since Brussels decided to redefine the rules of democracy for their own benefit? You answer the question.
The right to decide the fate of this nation is the right of every citizen not just that of the few who are beniffitng and thus more than happy to sign up to anything that puts more euros into their already bulging pockets. What is more, it would be undemocratic of them not to acknowledge that but we should not hold our breath. The will of the majority must prevail or democracy means nothing and that suits Brussels down to the ground. We know it and they know we know it and that is why they may well be happy to be rid of us and we happy to leave.
Britain has one other very important thing going for it which no other European country has and that is our membership of the wonderfully diverse Commonwealth; whose potential for increased trade and co-operation remains largely untapped. Imagine what might be done within this organisation if we applied some radical new thinking to our trading relations with them. We could jointly create a whole new way of conducting business within this community which would shine like a beacon of light by comparison to the dimly lit candle of introverted EU protectionism, control freakery and misguided and ill-perceived perceptions of self interest.
We could create a model of free trade based on level playing fields and mutually beneficial joint ventures in which consuming and producing nations freely invest in each other's economies and reap the benefits mutually. We could catalyse economic growth in a way that has never been done before and make a real impact on the inequities of poverty, hunger and lack of accessibility to education at the same time. There would be no more need for costly ineffective aid programs that create dependence in recipient countries and patronage in donor countries. This is iniquitous.
We could all grow up and flourish together. This is the vision the British people should flock to embrace. This is the path of light. The EU is a convoluted web of introversion controlled by the few for the few. Britains should find the courage to venture out to new exciting frontiers that encompass a whole new world and be there at the forefront. That is a vision worth striving for.

Letter to Mr. Cameron - Davos 2013
There are many more problems to be resolved before hunger can be eradicated than those listed in the IF campaign. First and foremost is the problem of endemic corruption in some developing countries. Until governments themselves recognise their own responsibility to tackle poverty in their own countries, very little can or will be achieved.
It is frankly a disgrace that those in power focus more on enriching themselves and expanding the trappings of power than on programs to alleviate the unjust suffering of so many in their societies. These leaders have a unique opportunity to create historic legacies for themselves by raising the living standards and education of the poorest in their countries but too often use their positions to enrich themselves instead.
How can India justify spending tens or hundreds of billions on a space program whilst millions go hungry? How can Mugabe justify building himself an extravagant palace whilst his people die of famine and so on?
Why is it that these and all leaders cannot comprehend that leading their societies to a higher and better place is the best way to enure their own continuance in positions of authority?
As important is the need for the removal of unfair tariffs on value added products from developing countries into trading blocks such as the EU. We need to create a level playing field for international trade and the best way to do this is to create new partnerships based on mutually beneficial interests with countries who grow the produce we all consume. This will require a completely new understanding of the meaning and value of co-operation between trading nations as well as a restructuring and standardisation of import/export tax codes for all countries enabling a fairer distribution of benefits between all parties.
To achieve this, importing and exporting nations will need to enter a new era of meaningful joint venture in which all parties can benefit mutually from the profits that are jointly generated. This will lead to a rapid expansion of trade worldwide and therefore higher tax revenues internationally providing the means to tackle poverty more effectively and provide universal education to those who still have little or no access to this basic essential human right.

Top Secret America
If you are concerned about the growing power of corrupt government and diminishing individual freedom you must make yourself aware of this investigation carried out by the Washington Post.
Here you will find duplicity of gargantuan proportions, deceit and double deceit, incompetence on a massive scale or deliberate misdirection in order to cover up secret agendas from the tax paying citizens who are financing it and the authorities who are theoretically responsible for managing and monitoring them.
You will find agencies within agencies hiding information from each other. Nobody it seems has a handle on the whole picture just fragments of it. It seems highly unlikely that the President has a handle on what is being done and the American people are being kept largely in the dark by the agencies who are supposedly there to serve their best interests; but how can anyone judge, if it is all done in secret behind closed doors.
The American people have a right to know what their tax dollars are financing. They have the right to know what purpose FEMA fusion centres serve. How many are there? What exactly do they do? They have the right to know why huge underground bunkers are being constructed, how many, where, at what cost and what is their capacity and why? They have the right to know why residential camps surrounded by double barbed wire perimeter fences and inward facing razor wire are being built in different locations around the country. How many? What is the capacity of these camps and why? They have the right to know the truth about the hundreds, possibly thousands of UFO sightings witnessed by countless people in the U.S. and around the world.
They have the right to know what is going on with HAARP technology, chemtrails, weather control and anything else that may have either negative or positive effects. They have the right to have all the current feedback related to GM crops. Are they harming us or the wild life? What impact are they having on the environment and disease? All these things are done in secret. Why? What is so sensitive about them that these activities must be kept secret?
How can any society trust a government that behaves covertly on so much that affects the lives and freedoms of so many? It cannot. Where is the justification for secrecy and how can anyone know even if there is one, if everything is cloaked in secrecy? Where is the evidence that tax dollars are being spent wisely for the benefit or detriment of citizens? Surely, if these projects were so beneficial to the American people, the President would be shouting these achievements from the roof tops! Do you hear him? I don't, nobody does.

Killing the mind and destroying the spirit
Do you recognise these mind control techniques? They are being used on all of us, all the time by an unscrupulous elite who seek to control us and diminish our ability to think for ourselves or question their actions.
It is happening in the United States and Europe. It has been used by totalitarian states to control and quell opposition since time began. It is now being used in democratic states for the same purpose. The great tragedy of this is the lost potential of the human race. We should have and could have resolved the seemingly insoluable abominations of poverty, famine and over-population had we focused the massive capacity of our combined braincells on these seemingly intrangiscent moral dilemnas. We could have and should have by now ensured that every child had a good education and we should have dramatically diminished the risk of war.
Instead our minds are focused on mind numbing computer games, social media sites, media output focusing on the salacious and negative aspects of human existence, fashion and celebrity culture and the list goes on and on. In the meantime the self-elected elite get on with their self serving schemes building empires and profiting from the choas they engineer and they do it unnoticed and largely unopposed.
The European Superstate is being imposed on the people of Europe without their consent using fallacious economic arguments born out of incompetence and questionable ideology. Chaos is created, fear engendered until such time as the agenda of this misguided elite can be forced through as being the only possible choice. No alternatives are offered, no discussion initiated, no thought encouraged. It's fait accompli!
Everyday wonderful people around the world do incredible things but it never makes the news. Good news raises hope, inspires and raises our spirit. It frees us from the cloud of negativity in which we are held captive by those who prefer we remain there. They divide, distract and deceive us to achieve their dubious and often immoral objectives.
The media focuses your attention on war, crime, accidents, death and destruction until you come to believe the picture they draw reflects the true reality when in truth it is only one side of the coin. How many times have you heard the comment, "what a terrible world"? Every day someone says it because that is the picture that has been deliberately painted to deceive us.
One of the central planks of this control is fear. Orchestrate chaos and the people will beg for order, the order "they" have already pre-determined will be imposed. Aligned to a corrupt principle of divide and rule and the dynamics for conflict are in place. Conflict means arms sales and an excuse to manipulate world affairs in accordance with their nefarious designs when the central principle of humanity should be to unite, share and build bridges of understanding, mutual respect and co-operation.
The opposite is the reality and this is the crime perpetrated against humanity by so called leaders for centuries and it is gathering ever more momentum with the advances in technology that allow for levels of control and manipulation previously unavailable. History shows that unless we take a more enlightened path the horrors of the past will continue to be the nightmares of the future.
Do we want to be reduced to nothing more than an apathetic, unthinking, unquestioning zombies living joyless uninspired lives following the herd around, doing what we are told and told what to think. If not, we need to start opening our minds before they have been closed down altogether.

FEMA and Democracy
American citizens and for all I know citizens everywhere are having their freedoms eroded by their government(s). There is no doubt about this.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is supposedly a citizen friendly disaster management agency. It looks anything but that. It's 2012 budget was close on $57 billion. What has the money been spent on? Well you can look at the budget and see what it says the money has been spent on or you can look at the hard evidence.
Just take a look at any number of videos on the Internet and what you see is very disturbing. You will see massive military vehicles, residential camps, many in remote areas, surrounded by double barbed wire fence perimeters and inward facing razor wire on top. You will see hundreds of thousands of multiple body "coffins". You will see senators unwilling or unable to answer simple straightforward questions who have co-sponsored bills they either have no understanding of or understand only too well! You will see FEMA officials stonewalling questions or refusing to make themselves available for questioning. You will see other officials squirming when caught out by "embarrassing" questions about whether or not one may or may not be on their watch list as a potential anti-government activist. This might entail nothing more serious than requesting right to know information on government departments!
We shall return to these issues a little further on. These things are disturbing enough but aligned to massive underground bunkers being built with accompanying airstrips and other infrastructure guarded by military personnel willing to shoot american citizens to protect those inside and we start to see something even more sinister. This is not a government of the people for the people.
Take a look at FEMA's track record on disaster management. Remember hurricane Katrina. Remember New Orleans. How many people are still homeless? Trailer homes remain vacant and unused. What did FEMA actually do when the massive recent storms overwhelmed parts of New York and other areas. I remember ordinary citizens mobilising themselves to help those in need and it was uplifting to see but what did FEMA actually do? Did they take the temporarily homeless into their "residential" camps and feed them? Did they use their massive trucks to evacuate those without transport? What did they do?
How many "residential" concentration camps have been built and where? How many people can they hold individually and in total? Why is it necessary to enclose these "residential" camps with huge barbed wire perimeters and razor wire? Why are there signs outside these camps warning that it is not permitted to take anything into the camps that may be used help those inside to escape? I thought they were "residential" camps for housing people in the event of disaster not prison camps!
What is this executive order creating the provision for the Council of Ten Governors and the creation of ten states from the 52? What happens to the other democratically elected governors? What happens to you? What happens to your rights? What happens to democracy? Will American soldiers be drafted in to impose martial law and licensed to shoot, imprison or torture anyone who does not comply? Comply to what? The theft of their democratic and human rights? What is this nightmare? Why don't you know about it? It's your country, your government, your #FEMA. You paid for every bit of it with your money, blood, sweat and tears! How dare they carry out their duties in secret? They are there to serve you in times of need, not dictate, control or manipulate the American public or create unregulated demonic self serving agendas. That this can happen in the so called land of the free is a condemnation of government and the so called free press! Why is this much vaunted free press not all over the politicians like a bad rash?
Why does a disaster management agency require massive military equipment? That's for the military to provide in time of need. Why does it require fusion centres to enable it to spy on ordinary innocent Americans going about their legal activities and expressing their right to freedom of speech or demanding accountability of those elected by them to serve them?
A disaster management agency is a co-ordinating body. It's job is to link other agencies together to cope with whatever disaster occurs, to co-ordinate. That is the management that is required. What are these agencies? They are essentially, fire, police, medical, transport, sea and air rescue, food supply and temporary accommodation for displaced persons.

Who does FEMA answer to? It should be you. Why is it that it's activities are shrouded in mystery and secrecy? This is the most worrying aspect of this sinister operation? It's just an emergency management agency! Why the need for secrecy? It is the fact that everything FEMA does is hidden from public view that creates suspicion and mistrust in the first place.
This whole nasty business is very bewildering and the governments past and present are the main architects of their own loss of credibility and national trust. A government that governs secretly is not to be trusted by the people who entrusted it with the privilege of service. When government becomes secretive, it is by definition separating itself from the people. It is no longer serving the people who put it there but pursuing it's own independent agenda to extend it's power and control over the people. The people will not and must never tolerate such abuse of their faith and trust or they will soon find themselves enslaved by the system, no longer free men and women.
Why is the job of homeland security and emergency disaster management combined under FEMA? This makes no sense. Security has nothing to do with disaster relief. Whose idea was this and what was the motive behind this curious marriage of responsibility?
Lastly, who do the military think they work for? There job is to serve and protect the nation, not implement the agendas of the elite. They are not separate from society. They are part of it. They are ordinary Americans with a job, just like every other American. They are fathers, mothers, sons and daughters just like everyone else and they should not forget it and nor should the American people. Why are they so intimidatingly uniformed when on domestic service? The American public are their family not their enemy.
President Obama needs to go back to the drawing board and show the people he is their President and not a FEMA puppet. It would appear he is kept out of the loop on a need to know only basis. He needs to correct this misconception and get to grips with what is going on. He should haul these civil servants across the carpet and make it clear who is in charge here. Above all he needs to implement an effective monitoring system that ensures he is fully informed on the nefarious activities of government agencies. That is the job of the Chief Executive Officer of any organisation. It is he who should leading from the front and standing shoulder to shoulder with the people.

What has the money been spent on? Well you can look at the budget and see what it says the money has been spent on or you can look at the hard evidence.
Just take a look at any number of videos on the Internet and what you see is very disturbing. You will see massive military vehicles, residential camps, many in remote areas, surrounded by double barbed wire fence perimeters and inward facing razor wire on top. You will see hundreds of thousands of multiple body "coffins". You will see senators unwilling or unable to answer simple straightforward questions who have co-sponsored bills they either have no understanding of or understand only too well! You will see FEMA officials stonewalling questions or refusing to make themselves available for questioning. You will see other officials squirming when caught out by "embarrassing" questions about whether or not one may or may not be on their watch list as a potential anti-government activist. This might entail nothing more serious than requesting right to know information on government departments!
We shall return to these issues a little further on. These things are disturbing enough but aligned to massive underground bunkers being built with accompanying airstrips and other infrastructure guarded by military personnel willing to shoot american citizens to protect those inside and we start to see something even more sinister. This is not a government of the people for the people.
Take a look at FEMA's track record on disaster management. Remember hurricane Katrina. Remember New Orleans. How many people are still homeless? Trailer homes remain vacant and unused. What did FEMA actually do when the massive recent storms overwhelmed parts of New York and other areas. I remember ordinary citizens mobilising themselves to help those in need and it was uplifting to see but what did FEMA actually do? Did they take the temporarily homeless into their "residential" camps and feed them? Did they use their massive trucks to evacuate those without transport? What did they do?
How many "residential" concentration camps have been built and where? How many people can they hold individually and in total? Why is it necessary to enclose these "residential" camps with huge barbed wire perimeters and razor wire? Why are there signs outside these camps warning that it is not permitted to take anything into the camps that may be used help those inside to escape? I thought they were "residential" camps for housing people in the event of disaster not prison camps!
What is this executive order creating the provision for the Council of Ten Governors and the creation of ten states from the 52? What happens to the other democratically elected governors? What happens to you? What happens to your rights? What happens to democracy? Will American soldiers be drafted in to impose martial law and licensed to shoot, imprison or torture anyone who does not comply? Comply to what? The theft of their democratic and human rights? What is this nightmare? Why don't you know about it? It's your country, your government, your #FEMA. You paid for every bit of it with your money, blood, sweat and tears! How dare they carry out their duties in secret? They are there to serve you in times of need, not dictate, control or manipulate the American public or create unregulated demonic self serving agendas. That this can happen in the so called land of the free is a condemnation of government and the so called free press! Why is this much vaunted free press not all over the politicians like a bad rash?
